Resistance Welding
Used in many applications and also known as spot, pinch, seam or projection welding, resistance welding is the bringing together of electric current and mechanical pressure in the proper magnitudes and for the exact amount of time necessary to fuse together two (and sometimes three) pieces of base metal. Properly executed, the resulting bond will be stronger than the metals themselves
