Who is Grossel Tool Company?
Grossel Tool Company is a full-service manufacturer of resistance welding equipment serving the automotive industry, the appliance industry, and a variety of other industries in need of specialized, custom-designed welding fixtures. From design to final assembly and testing, our experienced personnel in Sales, Engineering, Processing, Assembly and Customer Service are here for you.
Our History
Grossel Tool first opened its doors in 1946. Originally a general machine shop, we were manufacturing both air and hydraulic cylinders by the time of our incorporation in 1956. To further meet the needs of the auto industry, we began manufacturing resistance weld guns in the 1960’s. Since then we have grown to become a Tier 1 supplier of resistance welding guns and cylinders to the automotive industries as well as continuing to reach out to other industries, wherever resistance weld guns or air or hydraulic cylinders may be needed.

Our Facilities
Grossel Tool Company owns and operates a 25,000 square foot manufacturing and testing facility. We are capable of developing a single cylinder for a specific installation and, at the same time, we have the capacity to produce all of the weld guns needed to retool an entire assembly line.
Engineering Department
Our design team utilizes AutoCad Mechincal Desktop workstations to produce 2D or full 3D models, depending on the needs of our customers. We design welding guns, cylinders, and other industrial machinery, such as fixtures for clamping, piercing and pinching.

Commitment To Service
Grossel Tool has a strong commitment to providing technical support. From in-house telephone support through our service and engineering departments to a visit to your site — we offer emergency field service and on-site trouble-shooting, 24/7 — you can count on us to respond promptly to your problems and concerns.

Grossel Tool is usually using the most current AutoCad Mechanical Desktop 3D Para-solid version. There may be a short delay between when AutoCad releases a new version and Grossel Tool is up and running on it. As an additional point, various design translations are possible both in and out of AutoCad. Check with us for compatibility, if you have a different design language requirement.
Most delivery times are quoted. But to give an idea, small, rush gun projects (1-10 guns) can be done in 8-10 weeks. The average quote is 12-16 weeks for larger projects.
Spare parts can run anywhere from 3-8 weeks. Grossel Tool can set up a warehousing program for your convenience, however. Please call for details.
